As we do not wish to misrepresent the breed, Alpinarc Kennels would like to point out to potential White Shepherd owners, that unfortunately, White Shepherds, White German Shepherds, Australian bred White Shepherds etc are not a recognised separate breed in Australia and therefore cannot be issued ANKC (Australian National Kennel Council) pedigree papers.
Only the White Swiss Shepherd Dog (registered with the FCI/ANKC, or progeny from FCI/ANKC White Swiss Shepherd Dogs) can be registered with the ANKC & issued official pedigree papers. We truly hoped that the ANKC would accept our Australian bred dogs, but at this point in time, this hasn't been the case.
